Butholezwe Kgosi Nyathi

Butholezwe Kgosi Nyathi is Programs Manager at Amagugu International Heritage Centre (AIHC), a community-based heritage enterprise in the rural Matobo District of Zimbabwe. Through curating participatory cultural activities such as traditional games, dance and music, Butho is passionate about preserving and promoting tangible and intangible indigenous cultural heritage. A holder of a Master of Science Degree in Development Studies, Butho is a professional arts administrator and creative entrepreneur with eight years of experience. Cognisant of a world that is globalizing, Butho is keen to promote a thriving minority cultures movement. Butho is a 2016 Mandela Washington Fellow, a prestigious leadership development program for young African leaders by the Department of State, United States of America.
